Hollywood actors talk about their co-stars pretty routinely. From promoting films to just salacious gossip, there’s never a shortage of he-said, she-said — or he-said, he-said, for that matter. But it’s a bit more rare for actors of a certain age to talk about their on-screen romantic moments.
We’re talking about a delightful on-screen kiss between Morgan Freeman — in his late 70s at the time — and Diane Keaton — only a couple of years younger — in their 2015 movie “5 Flights Up.”
Keaton spilled the proverbial beans about what it was like to kiss Freeman and he decided it would be a good idea to read her words back to the whole audience — and to her — when he won the American Film Institute’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
“What I liked about Morgan Freeman’s kissing is that his lips were just so luscious,” he read as the audience of his peers eat up every last delicious drop.
The whole thing is downright wholesome and delightful, and frankly, Diane, we agree. Morgan is luscious in general.
