Every Veterans Day, businesses show their support for active military, veterans and their families with free meals, special discounts or free admission.
But there are also plenty of freebies veterans and active-duty military can enjoy all year long. Here’s a complete list.

Coffee
7-Eleven offers a free coffee or Big Gulp on Veterans Day. Veterans with valid ID can also get a free donut at participating Dunkin’ Donuts locations. Dunkin’ also runs a sweepstakes that allows loved ones to send an active military member a shipment of coffee. You can apply here.

Outback Steakhouse offers a “heroes discount” for all service members, police officers, firefighters and first responders. The 10% discount is available all year at participating locations with a valid state or federal ID.
Cracker Barrel offers a complimentary pumpkin pie latte or a slice of double chocolate fudge Coca-Cola cake on Veterans Day for active and former military members.
Those with a valid ID can get 10% off their meal at participating Buffalo Wild Wings locations.
Veterans and active military members ages 50 and up can get 30% off an AARP membership, which includes discounts, a magazine subscription and more.
