CBD is one of my favorite ingredients. It has been a popular topic of conversation these days largely due to the recent legalization of marijuana in several states combined with an influx of new studies about its benefits, which include reducing redness, soreness, and stress both internally and externally.
In case you’re not familiar, CBD stands for annabidiol, which is an extract from the cannabis plant. Marijuana is also from the cannabis plant, but don’t worry, these products contain very little to no THC, which is the ingredient in marijuana that makes you feel loopy.
I’ve written about CBD products before, but I wanted to start from scratch and find all new and innovative favorites. I’ve been tasting and testing for the past few months and am delighted to share my findings!

Ingestibles
There are so many ways to consume CBD, including tinctures, drinks, and even chocolate! Here are several that I’ve been enjoying lately.

1. Juna AM/PM Set ($78)
This duo of Juna’s bestselling organic CBD tinctures is designed to clear brain fog in the morning with the Balance formula and encourage a good nights’ sleep with the Nightcap formula. The Balance formula contains CBD and Full-Spectrum Hemp Oil as well as MCT, which is known to help with brain activity. The Nightcap formula contains CBD plus CBN–another extract from the Cannabis plant which is known to be sedating–as well as Chamomile and Passion Flower.

2. RESET Bioscience Foundation Broad Spectrum Formula ($89.99)
This sweet-tasting hemp-derived broad-spectrum extract is dispensed by a dropper like a typical CBD tincture, but because it’s a water-soluble liquid rather than an oil, you can drop it into your mouth or mix it into your beverage of choice. It’s also encapsulated into nanoparticles for faster absorption of 4x cannabinoids so don’t have to take as much as you typically would.

6. Upsy Align Balance Act CBD Beverage Blend ($36 for 10 packets)
I find CBD drinks to be a good substitute for alcoholic beverages, especially if you are trying to cut back. These portable powder packets contain 20mg of organic, hemp-derived CBD and lemon flavor from lemon juice and lemon oil. The powder can be dissolved in cold or hot liquids (I use them in seltzer, which creates a yummy foam when mixed with the powder). Can be used anytime, day or at night.
