In celebration of the new “Mean Girls” movie hitting theaters this week, Uber will be offering free rides to teens who want to watch the film on opening weekend.
The ride-hailing company is offering two free rides (a value of up to $15) for new Uber teen account riders nationwide (not including California) from Wednesday, Jan. 10 – Monday, Jan. 15. While the film officially hits theaters Jan. 12, Paramount is offering early access screenings Jan. 10-11, so your teen can catch the film before the weekend.
The deal is only good for new Uber teen members, so your teenager will need to make an account. With an Uber teen account, teens ages 13-17 can request their own rides with parent supervision. Parents can also follow along from pickup to drop off at the theater via the Uber app.
While Uber is giving out free rides to the film, Cinnabon offering up a free private screening and has given their Cinnabon treats a pink makeover.
Now through Feb. 11, you can enter to win a private screening for up to 50 guests to see the film in your hometown, plus you’ll get a $100 gift card to use at Cinnabon.
Their limited-time “On Wednesdays We Wear Pink (Frosting)” treats will be available at Cinnabon locations nationwide every Wednesday through Feb. 7, while supplies last.
The new “Mean Girls” film is an adaptation of the musical, not a sequel, but it is hitting theaters 20 years after the original.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the 2004 film, Coffee mate launched a a pink creamer that is flavored like frosting. Available in stores now, it is priced at around $4.69 for a 32-ounce bottle.
