The neutral position is the one you’re most likely to see your cat in.  In this position, the ears are not facing forward and they are not  turned back.


When your cat’s ears are faced forward, you know she is curious about what’s going on.

When your cat’s ears are straight up, it can mean a variety of things.  This position shows curiosity, alertness, confidence, and aggression.
