Most people probably aren’t familiar with a VPN, nor know what it actually does. Yes, a VPN allows you to stream Netflix from different countries. It’s also a privacy and security tool that encrypts users’ web traffic and masks their IP addresses. This means that whether you’re trying to watch YouTube abroad or looking for some extra security when in Starbucks, a VPN can be your best friend for secure, anonymous browsing.

However, finding a reliable VPN can be a difficult task with so many out there. Here are some of our favorites to consider if you’re planning to travel, or even do some holiday shopping while enjoying your favorite coffee blend.

Couldn’t have made a better list myself, currently I’m using Surfshark. I have used ExpressVPN and CyberGhost until CG canceled their free version and ExpressVPN became just too expensive. Surfshark I bought for 48$ for two years, and maybe the amount of servers is far from what ExpressVPN has, the speeds and bypassing geo-blocks work just fine. I think you truly picked the best VPNs there are.

I started reading your article and realised how lucky I am that I already use Nordvpn provider. I know that wifi in Starbucks or other coffee shops is not safe at all, so vpn is a must for every free internet lover.
