Credit scores are a key indicator of financial health, and a city’s average credit score can help paint a picture of its residents’ economic well-being. Although these scores don’t tell the whole story (especially since they don’t include income), they are still useful financial barometers. 

Which cities’ proverbial barometers point to good financial health? LendEdu.com and Experian worked together to identify the cities with the highest credit scores. Upturn Credit also looked at median household income that was reported by the United States Census Bureau. (Overall, median household income in the United States was $55,322, according to 2012-2016 American Community Survey 5-Year Estimates.)
