Ahh, that Margarita Mile in Dallas.
Just the sound of it is soothing, especially for Texans who love their Tex-Mex (and really, who among us doesn’t? It’s one reason many people refuse to move away from Texas. No, really.), Just the word Tex-Mex invokes a thousand memories of Sunday enchilada lunches after church; of late-night queso and tacos with the boys after some serious time under those Friday night lights that burn so bright here.
Texans love Tex-Mex, and we will fight about it. And that includes over where the best margaritas are.
Now, if you don’t live here, you may not think of Dallas when it comes to Tex-Mex or margaritas. But you’re gonna have to just hold up a minute, because Dallas is home to some of the best and oldest Tex-Mex restaurants in the state. In fact, the frozen margarita machine was invented in Dallas, so it should come as no surprise that 20 Tex-Mex restaurants have teamed up for an officially unofficial margarita crawl, and they’re all serving up some of the most delicious tequila concoctions you can imagine.
