In the glamorous world of Hollywood, actors are never content with just acting. Many have embarked on exciting new ventures outside of film and television, and what could be more glamorous than having their own alcohol brand?

Whether it’s a way to further their financial empire, a passion for the beverage, or just another excuse for a party, many actors have developed their own alcoholic beverages. Here are 9 actors who are making their mark in the world of wine, beer, and spirits.

9. George Clooney’sCasamigos Tequila

George Clooney, along with friends Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman, initially created Casamigos Tequila for personal enjoyment, but it quickly turned into a sensation. Produced in the Jalisco Highlands of Mexico, Casamigos offers several varieties including Blanco, Reposado, and Añejo. It has won numerous awards, including a Gold Medal at the Los Angeles International Spirits Competition in 2014. Clooney’s personal involvement in the brand’s taste and design is apparent, and the brand’s tagline, “Brought to you by those who drink it,” captures its casual, friendly vibe. A glass of Casamigos might not turn you into George Clooney, but it’ll certainly make you feel like you’re living his lifestyle.

8. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Teremana Tequila

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is constantly flexing his entrepreneurial muscles — and every physical muscle of his body, too. Teremana Tequila isn’t just another income avenue for him though — it’s the actor’s passion project. Teremana, derived from the Latin word ‘Terra’ meaning earth, and the Polynesian word ‘Mana’ meaning spirit, embodies the Samoan superstar’s connection to the land. This small-batch tequila is made from 100% mature blue agave, roasted in traditional brick ovens, and distilled in handmade copper pot stills. Teremana has gained attention for its commitment to sustainability and quality … and for Johnson’s captivating social media promotions of the spirit.

7. Ryan Reynolds’ Aviation Gin

Ryan Reynolds, ever the entrepreneur, didn’t just buy into Aviation American Gin; he became its most vocal advocate. Made in Portland, Oregon, this gin is known for its rye base and a carefully balanced blend of botanicals. Aviation has received numerous accolades, including a 97-point rating from Wine Enthusiast, and it’s praised for its smooth, accessible taste (it would seem as though the gin is as smooth as the “Deadpool” actor’s one-liners). The gin’s marketing is infused with Reynolds’ humor, including hilarious ads that only he could deliver.

6. Mark Wahlberg’s Flecha Azul

Take a gander at Mark Wahlberg’s acting repertoire and you’d think he has no room for extra endeavors. Head to his Instagram profile and you’d think he was solely an entrepreneur with no acting gigs on his docket. One of the most prominent things Wahlberg promotes on his IG is Flecha Azul tequila, which he launched in partnership with Sean “Diddy” Combs. Made from 100% blue agave from the Jalisco region of Mexico, Flecha Azul offers different expressions such as Reposado, Blanco, and Añejo.  The premium tequila brand stands out for its top-notch quality, which is apparently so top-notch that Wahlberg posted about it saying it had been named the No. 1 sipping tequila, although he failed to mention the source or outlet who dubbed the brand as such.

5. Danny DeVito’s Premium Limoncello

From the zany world of Frank Reynolds in “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” Danny DeVito brings us Danny DeVito’s Premium Limoncello. Launched in 2007, this sweet lemon liqueur was inspired by DeVito’s infamous appearance on “The View,” where he admitted to having indulged in limoncello the night before. DeVito’s Limoncello is authentic, made with Amalfi coast-grown Sorrento lemons, and the spirit itself is actually made in Italy. Reviewers say the drink is smooth and when you pop a bottle, your nose will be met with more of a lemon scent than the smell of booze.

4. Blake Lively’s Betty Booze

Despite the fact that the actress famously doesn’t drink alcohol, Blake Lively recently rolled out Betty Booze,  a line of three sparkling cocktails, with bourbon or tequila bases (she left the gin to her hubby, Ryan Reynolds). Betty Booze is a companion line to Betty Buzz, Lively’s line of nonalcoholic mixers she debuted in 2021. Still, some fans are a bit hesitant to trust the “Gossip Girl” star’s opinion on what makes a brilliant booze.

3. Jamie Foxx’s Brown Sugar Bourbon

Being an Oscar-winner wasn’t enough for Jamie Foxx, so he had to roll out an award-winning bourbon. Foxx brought his smooth style to the spirits world with Brown Sugar Bourbon. Infused with natural brown sugar and cinnamon, it’s like liquid dessert in a bottle. Foxx’s bourbon has been awarded numerous accolades, including the coveted Gold Medal at the 2017 SIP Awards.

2. Robert De Niro’s VDKA 6100

Legendary actor Robert De Niro teamed up with Artisan Spirits to create VDKA 6100, a high-quality vodka made from fresh seasonal whey and natural spring water. Distilled multiple times, it’s as refined and charismatic as De Niro’s performances. VDKA 6100 has been praised for its exceptional taste and smooth finish, making it a favorite among vodka enthusiasts.

1. Matthew McConaughey’s Wild Turkey Longbranch Bourbon

Alright, alright, alright. Matthew McConaughey isn’t just an actor; he’s also the creative director for Wild Turkey, and the man behind Wild Turkey Longbranch Bourbon. Made with Texas Mesquite and American Oak charcoals, the bourbon’s unique brewing process results in a flavor as bold and charismatic as McConaughey himself. Longbranch has received praise for its distinct flavor and has even been awarded the Gold Medal at the 2018 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
