With gas station prices remaining high, everyone wants to save at the pump. One of the easiest – and least expensive – ways to do that? Sign up for a gas station rewards program. These programs will let you get a percentage or flat rate off each gallon – and even earn points that you can redeem for extra rewards.
But not all gas station rewards programs are created equally – and some can help you save more money. Keep reading for the five best gas station rewards programs, how they differ and how to maximize your points.

BPme Rewards
The BPMe program lets you download the official app, connect a payment method and use that when paying at the pump. If you don’t want to download the app, you can register online and use your phone number as your alternate ID.
If you join this program, you’ll get 5 cents off per gallon every time you fill up at a BP or Amoco gas station. There is no minimum spend required to earn this reward.
While this program used to have an $100-monthly spend requirement, there is no minimum requirement anymore. Rewards will be automatically applied once you log in with your account. If you use the app, you can log on and see what special offers are available to you.

Exxon Mobil Rewards+
If you join the Exxon Mobil Rewards+ program, you’ll be able to save 3 cents off per gallon and 2 cents on any in-store purchases. You’ll also earn rewards points on your purchases, at the pump, inside the store or even at associated car washes.
You’ll earn more rewards on your birthday or if you refer friends who also sign up for the program. You can decide to redeem rewards for physical items or toward gas purchases. If you become a Premium member, you’ll earn more points when you fill up with the Synergy Supreme+™ premium gas.

Circle K Inner Circle Rewards
The Circle K Inner Circle Rewards offers special rewards for new customers. They’ll get 25 cents off for the first five visits. They’ll also get five free drinks.
After your fifth visit, you’ll earn 3 cents off per gallon. But if you spend $500 (including gas, food and drinks) you’ll become a Premium member, which will entitle you to save 5 cents per gallon.
Both regular and Premium users will receive the sixth item free on most Circle K items. But Premium members will receive special offers and also get notified about new products. You can manage your account with the Inner Circle app, available for both Android and iPhone devices.

Speedway Speedy Rewards
With the Speedway Speedy Rewards program, you’ll earn points at the pump and inside the gas station. Once you have enough points, you can redeem rewards for items at your local Speedway station, like a bag of chips or a signature Slurpee.
Start by creating a Speedy Rewards account, which you can do online or via their mobile app. You’ll have to provide your phone number and email address.Every month, you will choose a different monthly perk which will be added to your account. This might be extra fuel points or earning more points on a physical item.
Speedway also partners with other retailers including grocery store chains so you can earn more rewards. You can also redeem points to enter the Speedy Rewards Sweepstakes which can include a gift card to Speedway or a different retailer.
If you often stop at the gas station for a snack as well as a fill-up, this rewards program might be for you. It incentivizes those who buy food or drinks, with promises of a free purchase once you’ve bought a certain amount.

Shell Fuel Rewards
Like many types of rewards programs, Shell’s Fuel Rewards program comes with different tiers. Gold members can save five cents a gallon, while Platinum members can save 10 cents a gallon.
The gold tier is free to join. To get started, create an account, which you can do online or on their Android or iPhone app.
You can also link the credit cards you use at the pump so you don’t have to sign in when you’re getting gas. You can also sync partner rewards programs for more savings. If you shop at a Shell partner retailer, you will also receive cents off the gallon.
To redeem your Shell rewards, you’ll be asked whether or not you want to redeem some, all or none of your awards when at the gas station.
You’ll also earn rewards If you buy certain products at a Shell station, and these offers may rotate monthly.

Bottom Line
Don’t forget – you can join all of these programs to maximize your savings. If you don’t have to pay a membership fee, there’s no reason not to join as many gas stations rewards programs as possible.
You can also pick a couple of gas stations near your home or office and focus on those to earn rewards faster. If you pick one or two programs to focus on, you’ll likely save more money because you’ll be in a higher rewards tier.
