There’s nothing like taking a romantic getaway with your significant other. Big-name resorts just don’t have the same quaint, sentimental feel a bed and breakfast has (plus they usually come with a higher price tag).

If you are looking for a quick trip to take this year, check out the best romantic bed and breakfast in each state. To come up with our list, we limited options to places that only have one or two locations, so you know these have the best authentic local feel. And what is more charming than that?

Alabama: Fort Conde Inn

Connecticut: The Deacon

Florida: Inn on the Drive

Georgia: The Veranda

Details: Historic Senoia’s Main Street is just a block away from this bed and breakfast, putting guests in close proximity to the town’s many historical sites. The inn itself, built in 1906, is on the National Register of Historic Places and still boasts many of its original features.

If you have an extra day, check out Richmond Hill, a small town that features stunning 1930s architecture. It’s one of the best small towns in Georgia.

Hawaii: Hilo Honu Inn

Idaho: Talus Rock Retreat

Illinois: Davie School Inn
