CES 2025 brought the future right to our fingertips, showcasing some of the most exciting, innovative, and downright surprising technology on the horizon. Gramercy Tech CEO, Jeremy Patuto, scoured the show floor to find the semi hidden gems that caught his eye. Here’s his personal list of CES 2025 standouts—from flying cars to fish pizza! 

Which one do you think the events industry is ready to adopt first?

1. Aeroht’s Modular Flying Car

Why not a flying car? Aeroht’s modular flying vehicle is bringing sci-fi dreams closer to reality, boasting both affordability and functionality. “Great Scott!” This cutting-edge concept looks like it could truly take off—literally. You can read more about it here.

2. Aptera Motors’ Sun-Powered Car

Parked right outside CES, the Aptera sun-powered car turned heads with its promise of true off-grid energy independence. With no need for charging, this solar-powered vehicle has already clocked over 11,000 real-world miles, all powered by sunlight. The future of transportation is looking brighter than ever. 

3. Timekettle AI Translation Earbuds

Forget language barriers—the Timekettle AI translation earbuds are like something straight out of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. These compact earbuds offer real-time translation in any language, making it easy to communicate across the globe. Cue the spotlight,  “Babel fish is here, everyone!”

4. DEEPX AI Chips (and a Butter-Melting Demo!)

One of the most entertaining moments at CES was DEEPX’s booth, where they showcased their AI chip technology with a good old-fashioned carnival demonstration. By comparing how fast butter melted on their chips versus competitors’, they proved their tech runs cooler and more efficiently. t was a quirky yet effective way to make a point—and it got us thinking: how can we bring this kind of creativity to your next event?

5. Blue Meat Powder (and Fish Pizza!)

One of the more unconventional discoveries came from the Chinese wing of CES: Blue Meat Powder. This dried fish powder can be rehydrated to create… fish. To demonstrate, they served up a fish pizza. The taste? Rubbery but undeniably pizza-like. An unusual twist on food tech! Try at your own risk.

6. Autonomous Wheels by Wheel.me

Wheel.me’s autonomous wheels were a game-changer for the AV world. These wheels can be attached to any road case, making venue load-ins and load-outs faster and more efficient. Watching them in action on the CES floor was an impressive sneak peek into how tech can simplify the logistics of events. It’s exciting to think how innovations like these could further enhance the attendee experience and redefine what’s possible in live events.
