I recently found an online arbitrage niche that made me hundreds of dollars from the comfort of my own home.
You don’t have to own a business, you don’t have to have a physical shop open, and you can do this from anywhere around the world.
Arbitrage is the process of buying an asset, product, or service in one market and selling it for profit in another market.
The niche I’m talking about is logos.
That’s right, logos, like the ones you see specifically on hats, jackets, polos, patches, backpacks, and other wearables.
Here’s how it works.
Offer Digitized Logos to Screen Printing Companies
Often times, t-shirt screen printing companies outsource their embroidery services to companies who do it in-house.
In order for a logo to get embroidered onto a garment, they will need the logo to get digitized.
This digitized file will end in .dst and will work with any embroidery machine.
Well, screen printing companies are in need of good digitizers — this is where a great digitized logo gets you quality work.
What you’re doing here is simple:
- Offer high quality digitized files to screen printing companies (email them online) for their embroidery services
- Once they send you their logo(s), send it off to a high-quality digitizing company and ask them for their ‘reseller price’
- If the digitizer gives you a reseller price of $25, you mark it up to $50 to the screen printer
- You can also offer companies in your area a digitized file of their logo for embroidery (even if you do not provide that service) that they can use and have on file for future projects
There is no labor involved, just communication.
Your Market, Who to Contact
We already discussed you can offer high quality digitizing to screen printing companies and local businesses in your area.
Another big market are the promotional products companies.
These companies outsource ALL of their screen printing and embroidery offerings.
They usually provide their vendors (embroidery companies) with their own digitized files, that’s where you come in.
You can Google promotional product companies and email them offering your digitizing services; just like you would the screen printing companies.
I personally get my digitized files from Collective Embroidery; they do it all in-house and offer reseller prices so you can make money too.
I’ll offer the digitizing services to promo companies, screen printers, and profit from each sale.
Keep in mind that these services are in high demand, so these companies NEED what you’re offering.
It’s an untapped arbitrage niche that most will never know about.
