With inflation at all a high-time high, we have been treated to condescending posts and articles about how to save money. However, hidden in some of these articles are some actually good advice.
One of the best ways to save money on food is to cut down on meat, chicken, and fish and increase the amount of plant-based proteins you eat. I did this myself, and I saw my grocery bill decrease tremendously.
I experiment and try different forms of beans, rice, and lentils to make delicious suppers and lunches for my family. One of my absolute favorite dishes is lentil soup. I love soups and eat them all the time. Lentil soups are delicious, filling, and very, very cheap.
