Being rich is almost synonymous with having high-end, luxury cars in the minds of so many Americans. But last year, Dave Ramsey took to X (formerly Twitter) to put this myth to bed. Ramsey’s post listed the Top 10 cars driven by the rich, and, in what what was a surprise to many of the post’s commenters, most of them were, well, pretty average after all.
So, we’ve taken a deeper dive into Ramsey’s brief list by using sites like Kelley Blue Book and Edmund’s to find the average prices of the latest models of these cars. Who knows? Maybe you’ll find you’ve been driving a car millionaires love all along!
Note on Ramsey’s methodology: Ramsey’s website explains how he came to create this list in more depth. You can find that information here.
