HOME

IKEA TESAMMANS Throw ($29.99)

I love giving throws as gifts, and this throw is perfect for this time of year because it’s lightweight enough for cozying up on the couch in the spring and summer. This eye-catching, colorful, and super soft throw was designed in collaboration between IKEA and Dutch design studio Raw Color.

The Artistry by Lisa Mom Trinket Dish ($28)

These little trinket dishes are handmade by the founder in Massachusetts, who uses real flowers, crystals, shells, sand, and sparkles in her pieces. The dishes are a pretty receptacle for tiny treasures, like earrings and rings.

My Magic Carpet The Genevieve Gorder Spring Collection ($71.99 and up)

Washable rugs are so practical, but they’re not always the prettiest. This collection is overflowing with gorgeous prints and designs, so if a spot in Mom’s home needs a refresh, these rugs are a beautiful option. I tried the Flock Slate Grey Washable Rug runner and it’s stunning.

If a mom on your list needs a budget-friendly wardrobe refresh, a Primark gift card will be a welcome present. OUT & ABOUT

BrüMate Müv 35oz ($42.99 and up)

Not only are these car-friendly bottles pretty to look at, but they are the only 35oz, leakproof, insulated coffee mug on the market that can hold hot, cold, AND carbonated beverages, according to the brand.  They utilize a technology that keeps drinks cold for more than 24 hours and hot for more than 6.  The mugs have a new MagFlip magnetic closure that is leakproof and keeps the flip top open while you drink and they have an OctaLock thread system to lock the lid in place from 8 different sipping positions. There are lots of unique colors to choose from – my favorite is the Blue Agave, which is a holographic blueish purple.

If Mom is a pickleball or tennis player, she’ll get a ton of use out of this cute set, which includes a hand towel, a colorful 26 oz. water bottle, a pair of white “match time” ankle socks, and a pink racquet pen.

These might be the cutest overalls ever!  The fabric is lightweight, dirt-resistant, and stretchy, perfect for summer gardening (or even brunching!). They have elastic straps and lots of pockets and are available in several fun colors and patterns – my favorite is the Steel Blue Gardening Gnomes style.  Available in sizes XS-3X with 5 inseam options.

Baggallini All Day Large Duffel ($130)

Everyone needs a good carry-on bag and this roomy, eco-friendly duffel has all the pockets she needs, it packs flat, and it’s light enough to double as a gym bag or tote for errands.  It also has multiple carry options, with hand straps, an adjustable, removable crossbody strap, and a luggage sleeve. Available in several colors, including a glimmering Sterling Shimmer, which is my favorite.

Lesley Evers IVY Tote ($38)

This clothing and accessories brand is known for its vibrant prints and flattering styles.  This tote lays flat when not in use, and it is unexpectedly roomy inside – perfect for errands or a trip to the farmer’s market. It also has hand straps, an adjustable cross-body strap, a closure at the top, and two pockets.  It’s available in lots of eye-popping prints, perfect to reflect mom’s colorful personality.

APPAREL & ACCESSORIES

Nicole Miller New York 2-pack Reading Glasses ($12.99)

If Mom needs some fun new readers or if she’s just starting to squint when she reads, these whimsical glasses will bring a smile to her face. They are available in different strengths and, if she’s on screens a lot, they also filter up to 40 percent of blue light from digital devices as well as artificial fluorescent and LED light.  And I have to say that the brand has the cutest walking shoes, the Bandy Lace Up Woven Sneakers ($34.99). I have them in Gold Multi and they are cute and comfortable.

Aetrex Alyssa Adjustable Slide ($149.95)

If you’re not familiar with Aetrex, each shoe is anatomically designed based on data from over 50 million 3D foot scans. The Alyssa Slides have a cushioned memory foam footbed that offers a ton of support but they are more feminine than, say, Birkenstock’s. They have a leather upper and a hook & loop closure for adjustability and are surprisingly lightweight.  Available in Black and Cognac.

It’s not only the perfect excuse to support a small woman-owned brand, but these full-length, belted fleece dresses are chic and cool, but as comfortable as a tracksuit. They have generous pockets, an adjustable neckline (if mom likes a little off-the-shoulder look) and they are available in Black or Heather Gray in sizes S/M, L/XL, 1X/2X, 3X/4X, and in Regular or Tall.
