Ah, Carvel cakes. While Carvel may have adopted the slogan “Carvel … America’s Freshest Ice Cream” when it was created in 1906, it’s arguably also well known (if not better known!) for its ice cream cakes.
Classic cakes like Fudgie the Whale, Robert and Robin the Bunnies, and Cookie Puss are still in production today. As of March 2022, Carvel has over 50 cakes listed on its website, although availability depends largely on the season and your location if you’re hoping to buy a Carvel cake in person as opposed to ordering online.
